What
is needed is a paradigm shift in the minds of South
African youth today. Youth must realize that they have
an invaluable resource within them that may be the
solution to the very sobering problems in their
individual lives. That resource is potential, and at Young & Able we believe that every youth
possesses it. Too often, elements such as poverty, a
lack of emotional support, and peer pressure bury a
young person’s potential deep inside them. Young &
Able’s aim is to bring that awareness of one’s
potential back to the surface. We then walk with youth
as they take concrete steps towards making their
potential reality.
